Zoning Board approves first case; continues second pending counsel review.
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of January 5, 2026
Carlisle Zoning Board approves variance for second-floor garage addition at 564 East Street. Chair Eric Adams and Associates Ian Applegate and Kyle Rogers unanimously approved the application of Jeffery T. Curran on behalf of Alexandria Jabbour, with architect Amy Nastasi confirming that the proposed 649-square-foot addition brings the property to 3,161 square feet, within the allowable threshold.
The board continued the application of Makeovers and Finishes Group for 358 East Street on a 3-0-0 vote, with Town Planner Julie Mercier directed to seek a Town Counsel opinion on whether finishing an existing unfinished basement can be interpreted outside the 50 percent expansion rule; the applicant's proposal currently exceeds the limit by 302 square feet.
