Carlisle Pollinator Committee Approves Old Minutes, Pushes Forward on Knotweed Mapping
Finance Committee · Meeting of May 12, 2026
Carlisle's Pollinator Committee approved year-old minutes and flagged an unconfirmed letter to the Land Use Working Group at its May 12 hybrid meeting. Only three of five members attended — the chair, Lois, and Mark — with Stan and Leah absent; the three voted unanimously to approve April 2025 minutes after discovering no 2026 minutes had been posted. A central unresolved item was a letter drafted by member Leah urging that a proposed relocation of a sewer or wastewater facility from Kies Road to the Peter Spring meadow remain under natural resources oversight; members could not confirm the letter had been delivered and directed that the question be noted in the minutes.
The committee also advanced plans to map Japanese knotweed townwide in coordination with Natural Resources Commission staffer Will Holden, and set June 9 as the next meeting date.
