School Committee Meets Remotely Thursday; Summer Campus Rules Now Active

DATELINE — CARLISLE

The Carlisle School Committee convenes remotely Thursday afternoon and the Conservation Commission holds both a regular meeting and a public hearing that same evening, while the school district's summer campus restrictions quietly kicked in this week.

SCHOOLS

The Carlisle School Committee meets remotely Thursday, June 25, at 4:00 p.m. — the agenda is posted on the district website. It is the committee's next scheduled session as the 2025-2026 school year winds down.

The district has also published its annual "Story of Our School: Annual Overview 2025-2026," described on the school website as a living document shaped by students, educators, families, and community partners. Summer learning resources are now posted for all grade levels, including reading lists and math practice tools for students looking to stay sharp over the break.

Summer campus hours are also now in effect: the main office is open 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weekdays. During the Summer School program, running July 6 through August 7, the School Street lot is closed to public parking on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the playground is reserved for enrolled students during those same hours, and public restroom access is not available for playground visitors.

TOWN HALL

The Conservation Commission meets remotely Thursday, June 25, and will also hold a separate Notice of Public Hearing for a project at 343 Bedford Road. Residents with an interest in that parcel or in conservation matters generally can find agenda details on the town calendar at carlislema.gov.

The town homepage continues to note that Transfer Station permit enforcement is in effect. Same-day transactions are available at the Police Station by credit or debit card; all other transactions will be handled by mail, and no cash is accepted.

The town is also still seeking volunteers for open seats on boards and committees, and the June edition of the Town of Carlisle Municipal Newsletter is available on the town website.
