Concord Select Board Approves 2027 Town Meeting Calendar, Advances MCI Redevelopment Planning

CARLISLE — June 1, 2026 — Concord Select Board unanimously approved a revised 2027 Annual Town Meeting calendar and received a detailed update on MCI Concord redevelopment planning at its June 1 meeting. Town Moderator Carlin Reed proposed shifting the three-night town meeting to May 17, 18, and 19 — about three weeks later than historical practice — and the board voted to add a warrant preview session on Saturday, January 9, 2027, while moving the tri-board capital planning forum to January 11; Regional School Committee Chair Tracy Murano raised scheduling concerns about the January cluster, and the board indicated it may revisit the tri-board date pending feedback from the school committee at its Wednesday meeting.
